Destined to be noted in history as a poet revolutionary, Stanley Mathis, was also elected on, May 19th, 1997, into the International Poetry Hall of Fame by the National Library of Poetry. He was, in 1999, cited as One of the Best Poets of the 20th Century by the International Library of Poetry.
Stanley is also the poet who penned America's Team, the poem, that the world famous Dallas Cowboys sold throughout their pro shops, in 1997.
